Main Activities
- 1Teach paragraph structure: topic sentence → supporting sentences → concluding sentence
- 2Model planning: brainstorm ideas → organise into a plan → write the paragraph
- 3Introduce planning tools: mind maps, bullet point lists, numbered outlines — all in Arabic
- 4Plan a paragraph about "My School" using a chosen planning method

Sentence starters: display 5 different ways to start a sentence — pupils choose one and create a sentence.
Main Activities
- 1Review paragraph structure and planning from Lesson 1
- 2Write a paragraph about "My Family" — include names, descriptions, activities, and opinions
- 3Use a checklist: Did I include adjectives? Verbs? Connectives? Opinion phrases?
- 4Peer review: swap paragraphs and give 2 positive comments + 1 suggestion
