🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Sports sound effects: play sounds of different sports — pupils guess and say the Arabic name.

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce 10 sports: كرة القدم (football), سباحة (swimming), ركض (running), كرة السلة (basketball), تنس (tennis), كرة الطائرة (volleyball), جمباز (gymnastics), ملاكمة (boxing), كريكت (cricket), فروسية (horse riding)
  2. 2Practise: "ألعب..." (I play...) and "أمارس..." (I practise/do...)
  3. 3Survey: find out which sports classmates play — record in Arabic
  4. 4Complete the Sports Vocab Cards worksheet
