Tips & Hints
My First Sentences
🌟
You don't need to be an Arabic expert to teach your child. Consistency, encouragement, and making it fun are far more important than perfection. These tips will help you feel confident and prepared.
🏫 For Teachers
- Simple sentence formation is a huge step — children move from single words to actual communication.
- Keep sentence patterns consistent: Ana + adjective, Urid + noun, Hadha/Hadhihi + noun.
- Do not over-explain grammar — let children absorb patterns through repetition and practice.
- Sentence frames on the wall are essential — children can refer to them when writing independently.
🏠 For Parents
- Your child is now forming real Arabic sentences — this is a major milestone!
- Encourage them to use sentences at home: "Urid maa" (I want water) instead of just "maa" (water).
- You do not need to understand Arabic grammar — just celebrate when your child makes a sentence!
- Try asking "Can you say that in Arabic?" when your child asks for something — a gentle prompt.
💡 Learning Hints & Memory Tricks
- ✦"Ana" (I) is the starting point for talking about yourself — "Ana sa'iid!" (I am happy!)
- ✦"Urid" (I want) + any noun = instant useful sentence! "Urid tuffaha!" (I want an apple!)
- ✦"Hadha" and "Hadhihi" both mean "this is" — you will get a feel for which to use over time!
