Head, Hand, Foot

  • Say "ra's" (head), "yad" (hand), "qadam" (foot)
  • Point to body parts when hearing Arabic names

🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Play "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" in English — now we will learn these in Arabic!

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce head (رأس), hand (يد), foot (قدم) with flashcards and pointing
  2. 2Simon Says (Arabic edition): "Ilmas ra'sak!" (Touch your head!) — children follow instructions

Eyes, Nose, Mouth

  • Name 6 body parts in Arabic

Recap: touch your ra's, your yad, your qadam — we know 3 body parts already!

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce eye (عين), nose (أنف), mouth (فم) — point to each as you say it
  2. 2Face drawing: draw a face and label each feature in Arabic
  3. 3Action song: create movements for each body part and sing while pointing
  4. 4Write sentences: "Hadhi ayni" (This is my eye), "Hadha anfi" (This is my nose)

Body part speed round: teacher points to a body part — children shout the Arabic name!

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce ear (أذن — udhn) and shoulder (كتف — katif)
  2. 2Full body labelling: label a complete body outline with all 8 body parts in Arabic
  3. 3Body parts relay: teams race to stick Arabic labels on a large body poster
  4. 4Arabic "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" song — learn it in Arabic!
