Count from 1 to 20 in Arabic — warm up for bigger numbers!
Main Activities
- 1Introduce tens: 20 (عشرون), 30 (ثلاثون), 40 (أربعون), 50 (خمسون)
- 2Pattern spotting: "The tens all end in -uun! Ishruun, thalathuun, arba'uun..."
- 3Count in tens with a clap: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 — clap on each ten
- 4Write Eastern Arabic numerals for each ten: ٢٠, ٣٠, ٤٠, ٥٠
