Draw a quick picture of your family — we are going to learn their Arabic names!

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce "Ummi" (أمي — my mum) and "Abi" (أبي — my dad) with picture cards
  2. 2Practise pronunciation: break it down — "Um-mi", "A-bi" — say each 5 times
  3. 3Label a family picture: write "Ummi" and "Abi" next to the right people
  4. 4Complete the family vocab cards — match Arabic words to family member pictures
