Lesson Objectives
- Learn 8 common Arabic prepositions
- Use prepositions to describe where objects are
🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)
Where is it? Hide an object in the classroom — students ask "أين...؟" and teacher answers using prepositions.
Main Activities
- 1Introduce prepositions with physical demonstrations: في (in), على (on), تحت (under), بجانب (next to), بين (between), أمام (in front of), وراء (behind), فوق (above)
- 2TPR activity: teacher says "ضع الكتاب على المكتب" (put the book on the desk) — students follow
- 3Pair work: one student places objects, the other describes their position in Arabic
- 4Vocab cards worksheet: write each preposition with an illustration showing its meaning
