🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Virtual souk tour: show a video of an Arabic souk — pupils identify items and Arabic words they hear.

Main Activities

Bargaining at the Market

Price check: show items with prices — pupils say "غالي!" (Expensive!) or "رخيص!" (Cheap!).

Main Activities

🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Quick maths in Arabic: teacher says two Arabic numbers — pupils add them and say the answer in Arabic.

Main Activities

  1. 1Review numbers and introduce: ثمن (price), نقود (money), عملة (currency), دينار, درهم, ريال
  2. 2Practice calculating change: "الثمن عشرة. أعطيتك عشرين. الباقي عشرة." (The price is 10. I gave you 20. The change is 10.)
  3. 3Shopping simulation: buy multiple items, calculate totals, work out change — all in Arabic
  4. 4Write 5 price-related sentences
