What Do They Look Like?

Lesson Objectives

  • Learn physical description vocabulary
  • Describe someone's appearance in Arabic

🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Guess who: teacher describes someone in the class in Arabic — pupils guess who it is.

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce appearance adjectives: طويل (tall), قصير (short), نحيف (slim), شعر أسود (black hair), شعر بني (brown hair), عيون خضراء (green eyes), عيون بنية (brown eyes)
  2. 2Model descriptions: "هو طويل وله شعر أسود" (He is tall and has black hair)
  3. 3Teach: "لَهُ/لَها..." (He/She has...)
  4. 4Complete the Describing People Vocab Cards worksheet
