Weekend circle: go around the class — each pupil says one thing they do at weekends in Arabic.

Main Activities

  1. 1Introduce weekend activity vocabulary: أزور (I visit), أسافر (I travel), أتسوق (I shop), ألعب (I play), أشاهد (I watch), أخرج (I go out)
  2. 2Contrast weekday vs weekend: "في أيام الأسبوع أذهب إلى المدرسة. في العطلة ألعب" (On weekdays I go to school. At the weekend I play)
  3. 3Write 5 sentences about your typical weekend
