Describing My Home

Lesson Objectives

  • Describe home using "في بيتي..." (In my house...)
  • Use adjectives with room vocabulary

🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)

Show two house pictures (big house, small flat) — pupils describe differences in Arabic.

Main Activities

  1. 1Review room vocabulary: مطبخ, غرفة نوم, حمّام, صالة
  2. 2Model sentences: "في بيتي ثلاث غرف" (In my house there are three rooms)
  3. 3Add adjectives: "المطبخ كبير" (The kitchen is big), "غرفتي صغيرة" (My room is small)
  4. 4Write 4 sentences describing your home

Mime game: teacher mimes an action — pupils say which room it happens in, in Arabic.

Main Activities
