What Colour Is the Cat?
Lesson Objectives
- Combine a colour word with an animal name
- Know colour comes after the noun in Arabic
🌅 Warm-Up (5 min)
Quick colour and animal recap: flash 5 colour cards and 5 animal cards — can they name them all?
Main Activities
- 1Teach word order: in Arabic the colour comes AFTER the animal — "Qitta bayda" (white cat)
- 2Model 5 examples: brown dog, grey elephant, orange cat, white rabbit, black horse
- 3Matching activity: connect animal cards with colour cards to make descriptions
